95-1 Polyimide Tape

Used for masking on printed circuit boards to protect gold contacts from molten solder during a hot air wave soldier leveling process. The tape is amber in color and translucent. It is also the ultimate electrical insulating tape and ideally suited for continuous high temperature operation conditions because of its silicone thermosetting adhesive. . It has an Insulation class of 180 degrees C (356 degrees F) Excellent puncture resistance, as well as, resistance to acids, oils, solvents, aging, staining, and water immersion. Removes cleanly. Continuous service temperature range is -100 degrees F to +500 degrees F. Short term intermittent service can go to 600 degrees F. Dielectric strength is 7500 volts.
